Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Assist in warehouse organization and dock operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Valid Maryland driver's license preferred
