Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials between storage, production, and shipping areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting maintenance needs immediately
- Verify inventory counts and document material movements using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including OSHA standards and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations
- Load/unload trucks using proper techniques to prevent damage
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Osha-approved) or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and verification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
