Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials within warehouse and yard areas
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload trucks with precision while adhering to weight distribution protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanners and digital systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Enforce strict safety standards and participate in quarterly safety drills
- Operate auxiliary equipment (pallet jacks, order pickers) as needed
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of recent warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Forklift certification required (class 1-5 experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Reliable transportation and clean background check
- Ability to work in fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment
