Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse settings
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of shipments
- Maintain safety compliance through daily equipment inspections and OSHA protocols
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize warehouse space utilization
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Certification in OSHA forklift operation and hazardous materials handling
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
