Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance issues immediately
- Load/unload trucks using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management system
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Participate in quarterly safety training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
