Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods efficiently
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of material movements
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage and retrieval processes
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
