Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organization: Maintain organized warehouse aisles and storage areas to ensure efficient workflow.
- Equipment Care: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing lists and shipping logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Equipment: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a major plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
