Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation processes
- Collaborate with warehouse team to maintain organized storage areas and optimize workflow
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in training new operators on equipment usage and safety procedures
- Participate in regular team meetings to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license preferred
