Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Perform routine pre-shift and post-shift inspections of all equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Execute inventory counts and stock management tasks to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in strict adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding material handling, housekeeping, and safety protocols.
- Document daily operations and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (valid certification required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, standing, and walking for extended shifts.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Valid Class C Driver's License (preferred).
