Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols, warehouse regulations, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting stock counts, and ensuring proper organization of stock.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure operational readiness.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to optimize warehouse workflow and meet production targets.
- Packaging: Properly package and label shipments to ensure damage-free transit.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL preferred for Class 1/3 operators).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety in all tasks performed.
- Background Check: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
