Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and shelving products efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clutter-free, and accessible for optimal workflow.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehousing or logistics.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate heavy machinery.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read and interpret shipping manifests and labels.
- Background: Clean driving and criminal background check required.
