Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflow
- Assist in receiving, sorting, and organizing stock efficiently
- Train new operators on equipment usage and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to Baton Rouge facility (remote-friendly after onboarding)
