Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization of stock in designated storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended shifts.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and basic math skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of safety adherence.
