Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all inventory is accurately counted and logged into the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace to ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform routine safety checks and basic maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Collaborate with team leads and inventory managers to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding material handling and workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
