Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and Unload Freight: Handle incoming and outgoing shipments with precision, ensuring accurate documentation and damage control.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure operational efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding stock levels and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Certification: Possession of a valid forklift operator certification (we offer paid training for qualified candidates).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not required for entry-level roles.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and follow strict safety protocols.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required.
