Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized goods efficiently
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams to ensure timely material flow
- Assist with general warehouse cleaning and organization tasks
- Document daily activities in electronic logbooks
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 72 hours)
- Minimum 1 year prior forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Clear communication abilities in English
- Reliable transportation to industrial NE Portland location
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Availability for early morning shifts (5:00 AM start)
