Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse facilities
- Load/unload trucks with precision using pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Manage inventory counts and document material movements accurately
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 48 hours)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience in warehouse/distribution setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Reliable transportation to industrial areas in Charlotte
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work early morning/night shifts as needed
