Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse environments
- Load/unload trucks and containers using proper palletization techniques
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation per FIFO protocols
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean and organized workstations and storage areas
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Assist with warehouse cleanup and general facility maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 6 months recent forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation to Jacksonville work sites
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in fast-paced, temperature-controlled environments
