As a Forklift Operator at Apex, you will play a critical role in ensuring our supply chain remains efficient and our inventory is managed with precision. We value safety, efficiency, and reliability above all else.
Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts (reach trucks, order pickers, sit-down forklifts) to move, load, and unload products and materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and stocking merchandise while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Palletizing & Labeling: Properly palletize items for shipping and apply correct shipping labels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must possess a current and valid forklift operator license (OSHA compliant).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet business demands.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
