Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and stage materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated zones.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures at all times.
- Clean work areas and maintain a professional, organized environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator License (valid for Class I, II, or III forklifts).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners or RF devices.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety compliance.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
