Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to all OSHA safety standards and protocols.
- Accurately check inventory and document stock movements using RF scanners and inventory management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as refueling forklifts and checking tire pressure.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety and quality control.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution preferred but not always required for the right candidate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for accurate inventory counting.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime if needed.
