Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Order Pickers) to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating warehouse management systems.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working order.
- Stack and organize pallets according to safety guidelines and company protocols.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Report damaged goods or equipment immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CL or CV) is required; certification training provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to the Jacksonville facility.
