We are looking for a dedicated Forklift Operator to ensure the efficient flow of inventory and maintain a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Perform daily safety inspections on equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO).
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including packaging and order picking, as needed.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
