Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move materials throughout the warehouse and loading docks.
- Load and unload freight trucks in strict adherence to safety regulations and weight limits.
- Stack and organize inventory on pallets and shelves to optimize warehouse space.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines strictly.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and high physical stamina for standing and lifting.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and labeling.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions (dock doors and outside).
