Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse and yard environments
- Load/unload freight trucks and containers with precision using pallet jacks and dollies
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance documentation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company inventory procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and report safety hazards immediately
- Track inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
