Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to load, unload, and stack materials with precision and speed.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to accurately track stock levels and manage warehouse organization.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Handle heavy loads and reach items on high shelves using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class A, B, or C) with a valid license.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and scanning barcodes.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
