Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (Class A, B, or C) to move, locate, and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Perform thorough pre-shift inspections of forklifts and safety equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Load and unload trucks, railcars, and shipping containers accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and reconcile stock counts as required.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (must be presented at interview).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
