Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. If you have a valid forklift license and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, and Pallet Jack) to move, stack, and organize inventory with precision.
- Load and unload freight trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure forklifts are in safe working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping and organizing pallets.
- Accurately scan and document inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and weighing packages.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
