Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy warehouse equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from storage areas accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using scanning systems.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to undergo on-site forklift certification training.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock verification.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to the workplace.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot/cold) depending on dock operations.
