Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using proper equipment and techniques.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy in the warehouse management system.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials efficiently within the facility.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items according to customer orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and be available for full-time shifts.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand safety labels and warehouse instructions.
