Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all forklifts to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and tagging items correctly.
- Organize and stack merchandise neatly to maximize warehouse space and ensure efficient retrieval.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and meet daily production targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (Valid Class A, B, or C license required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and navigating uneven surfaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from the El Paso facility.
