Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials efficiently within the warehouse.
- Ensure all cargo is securely fastened and properly labeled to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and update inventory management systems accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily productivity targets.
- Follow all company policies regarding hazardous materials and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and navigating tight spaces.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
