Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently at all times.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely manner, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records in the system.
- Inspect machinery and equipment for damage or maintenance needs before operation.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies strictly.
- Organize warehouse aisles and storage areas to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA preferred).
- Previous experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and stock management.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
