Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment prior to use to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Organize and stack inventory accurately in designated storage areas to maximize space and prevent damage.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure workplace.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and documentation as required by management.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must be present upon hiring).
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or using warehouse software.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
