Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts, stock checks, and coordinate with the warehouse management team to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Packing and Shipping: Prepare pallets for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and securing of goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate forklifts.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Attendance: Strong work history with reliable attendance records.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
