Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for moving, locating, and verifying specific materials and products within our warehouse. You will operate heavy machinery to ensure efficient inventory management and order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are followed at all times.
- Inspect forklift equipment for any maintenance issues and report them immediately.
- Prepare pallets for shipping and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
