Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and verify stock against warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Keep the Facility Organized: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and report any maintenance issues with equipment to the supervisor.
- Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders quickly to ensure on-time delivery.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures strictly.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Work History: Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read labels and perform basic calculations.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and shipping tasks.
