Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts, to load, unload, and move materials within the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Ensure all warehouse operations adhere to strict OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine safety inspections and maintenance checks on equipment before and after shifts.
- Organize and prioritize work orders to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating industrial forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Diesel preferred).
- Must possess a valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with handheld scanning devices.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
