Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products throughout the facility safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklift equipment for mechanical issues before and after each shift to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging, scanning, and logging stock into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and optimal warehouse organization.
- Perform daily cleaning and organization of the workspace to maintain a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or valid forklift license required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
