Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, locate, and move products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification within 30 days of hire (training provided).
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong safety awareness.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
