Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, railcars, and shipping containers with precision.
- Verify incoming and outgoing inventory against shipping manifests and purchase orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of goods for shipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification (we provide training for qualified candidates).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or RF guns.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid California driver's license is a plus but not required.
