Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (including Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, and Clamps) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of all equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Accurately check and verify inventory levels using handheld scanners and computer systems.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Report any damaged inventory, unsafe conditions, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and logs accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Current, valid forklift certification (Counterbalance, Reach, or Order Picker).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of basic warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software.
- Reliable transportation and a consistent work history.
