Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload products from trailers and racks.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts and related machinery.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package, label, and stage materials for shipment or storage.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse supervisors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred) and reach truck experience is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate heavy machinery.
- Reliability: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
