Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, and Pallet Jacks) to load and unload freight.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock according to strict warehouse protocols.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to streamline the picking and packing process for maximum efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy (for inventory systems).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
