Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels through cycle counting and organization.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily productivity targets.
- Assist in the packaging and shipping process, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
