The Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and safely. We value reliability and attention to detail above all else.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse and loading dock.
- Inspect forklift equipment for mechanical issues and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift.
- Stack and organize pallets according to safety guidelines and inventory management systems.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and stock levels using warehouse management software.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team leads to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License (Class B preferred).
