Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organize inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring accurate labeling and efficient stock rotation.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and complete all necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and workflow goals.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA or NCCCO) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
