Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading dock.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs to management immediately.
- Verify inventory counts and document movement of goods accurately using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks on equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CDL Class B is a plus but not required).
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
