Responsibilities
- Operational Safety: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Material Handling: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Reach Trucks) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory orders to meet production deadlines and customer demands.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on all equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of inventory movement and cycle counts as required by management.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher).
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory data.
