Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock rotation and organization.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of shipments and orders.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B not required but preferred).
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
